WHAT IS WELLNESS?
Wellness is "an active process of becoming aware of and learning to make healthy choices.”
This McMahon Wellness program has been provided to help our employees LEARN better ways to approach, and take responsibility for, their own health practices. These are everyday choices that can help create a better quality of life and keep you healthier all year long so you can use that FTO for FUN!
A wellness program is more than this...
A wellness program is any program implemented by an employer to improve the health of its workforce.
A wellness program can also help individual employees overcome specific health-related issues by providing training, seminars and/or partnering with a third-party provider(s) on a range of programs that could include: nutrition, physical fitness, a quit-smoking program, physiological testing such as cholesterol and blood pressure screenings, and stress management.

The Wellness mission is to establish, and maintain, an environment across McMahon that promotes healthy lifestyle choices – both physically and mentally, by providing employees, and their families, with:

education and resources to inspire individual health responsibility
exposure to activities and programs that build personal health practices
work environment improvement in alignment with a healthy lifestyle
