Relaxation

​Who wants to argue with Leonardo? Stress is the one thing​ we all have in common. Hopefully not all at the same time! But there is something you can do about it, you just need to be carefully taught, and practice! 

This section of the LEARN program will concentrate on relaxation and mindfulness techniques that you can use at your desk, at home, in a group, or in nature.  

Being positive has an effect. Nurturing your mind to respond to difficult times by focusing on the positive may not solve the problem at hand, but it can help shape how you respond to it. 

 

In future relaxation events we will highlight techniques that foster this approach.  In the meantime check out these articles on the Power of Positivity.

The McMahon Wellness Committee encourages everyone to incorporate Relaxation into your daily life, both at work and at home.
